Is it permissible to wear makeup to conceal acne pimples?

If makeup is a special adornment for women, then it is not permissible for a man to adorn himself with it, due to the forbidden imitation involved. Indeed, "the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) cursed men who imitate women and women who imitate men."
