What is the share of each heir from the estate of the deceased man after the payment of his bequests, debts, and zakat?

If a man dies and leaves behind debts and a will, you start by preparing him for burial and paying the legitimate funeral expenses, then settling the debts and executing the will; in accordance with the Almighty’s saying: (after any bequest he may have made or any debt). Thus, from the estate, the following are disbursed: the cost of preparation (6,000 dirhams), zakat (60,000 dirhams), debts to people (100,000 dirhams), and the bequest (50,000 dirhams). The remainder (144,000 dirhams) is divided among the heirs.

In the case of two wives, three granddaughters (daughters of a son), four full sisters, and two paternal half-sisters: - The two wives receive one-eighth (divided between them). - The granddaughters receive two-thirds. - The full sisters receive the remainder, as they become ’asabah (residuaries) with the granddaughters. - The two paternal half-sisters receive nothing, as they are excluded by the full sisters. The estate is divided into 24 equal parts: - The two wives receive 3 parts (9,000 dirhams for each wife). - The granddaughters receive 16 parts (32,000 dirhams for each granddaughter). - The full sisters receive 5 parts (7,500 dirhams for each full sister).
