Does talking on the phone with girls unnecessarily during the day in Ramadan invalidate the fast?

Speaking with foreign women unnecessarily is one of the greatest causes of temptation (fitna), and sinning in Ramadan is more severe. The fast of someone who commits this sin is valid, unless it leads to the emission of semen due to arousal of lust.
