Is the feeling that Allah does not love me and does not hear my supplication a baseless doubt (waswas) or a reality, especially after getting rid of atheistic شبهات (misconceptions/doubts) and striving in the path of Allah?
Allah Almighty is Generous, and He promised guidance to those who strive in His cause, saying: "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good." Therefore, strive sincerely against yourself, cast out satanic thoughts, turn to your Lord with devotion, seek refuge in Him, and ask Him of His bounty. You should keep company with righteous women, adhere to dhikr (remembrance of Allah) and du'a (supplication), ponder upon Allah's names, attributes, and greatness, and abandon intrusive thoughts. Observe the obligatory prayers and increase in supererogatory ones, for whoever draws near to Allah a span, Allah draws near to him a cubit. And He, Glory be to Him, does not reject a petitioner nor does He close His door in the face of one who seeks Him with sincerity.
