Does praying upon the Prophet protect one from the evil eye and envy?

Sending blessings upon the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, is of great benefit. Among its virtues is that it suffices for worries and forgives sins, as stated in the Hadith of Ubayy ibn Ka'b. However, there is no narration indicating that it protects from envy (hasad) and the evil eye ('ayn).
