What is the ruling on seeking refuge with "the perfect words of Allah" and "the noble face of Allah and His ancient dominion"?

To distinguish between additions attributed to Allah, we differentiate between two types: 1. Attributes added to Allah: Such as knowledge, power, and speech. These attributes are not created, and the attribution indicates that they are intrinsic qualities of Allah, Exalted be He. 2. Entities added to Allah: Such as "House of Allah" (Bayt Allah) or "She-camel of Allah" (Naqat Allah). These are created entities, and the attribution is either general (like His saying: "This is the creation of Allah") or specific, to distinguish and honor them (like "House of Allah" for the Kaaba).

Accordingly, Allah's words, His authority, and His victory are not created, and seeking refuge in them is permissible because they are among Allah's attributes.

As for supplicating Allah's attributes (such as saying "O Mercy of Allah" intending to supplicate mercy itself), this is polytheism (shirk). However, if the intention is to invoke mercy from Allah, then it is permissible, and to this context is attributed what was reported in the historical account of Abu Sufyan at Yarmouk: "O Victory of Allah, draw near."
