Should a woman resume prayer while persisting in the grave sin of adultery, even though she feels shame and psychological discomfort for what she is doing?

Adultery is a grave crime and a great indecency. Allah has punished adulterers in this world with flogging for the un-married and stoning for the married. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, clarified that adulterers, male and female, will be tortured in a pit like an oven, with flames rising from beneath them. The adulterer must offer immediate and sincere repentance for this great sin, express deep remorse, and cease committing it and everything that leads to it, such as immodesty, adornment, seclusion, and mixing with non-mahram strangers. He must also maintain prayer, which forbids indecency and evil, and increase in seeking forgiveness, repentance, and supplication. For Allah accepts the repentance of His servant and replaces his bad deeds with good ones. The door to repentance is open, and Allah rejoices at the repentance of His servant. After repentance, one should cut off the paths to indecency by entering into a lawful marriage, knowing that it is not permissible to marry someone who has committed adultery until after their repentance.
