What is the ruling of Islamic law regarding a Muslim husband who insists on anal intercourse with his wife and during her menstrual period?

Engaging in anal or vaginal intercourse with a woman during her menstrual period is Islamically forbidden. The one who commits this act is threatened with punishment and deprivation from Allah Almighty's gaze upon him. The wife must prevent her husband from this reprehensible act and remind him of the Islamic ruling, for there is no obedience to a creature in disobedience to the Creator. If the husband insists, she may refer the matter to the Sharia court. Whoever commits this act must offer sincere repentance and give in charity the value of a dinar.
