The Imam's takbir after straightening up from the first does not invalidate the prayer of the ma'mum (follower). In fact, it is recommended by the Malikis for everyone. As for takbirs other than the takbir of standing, it is recommended to begin them immediately upon commencing the transition. And his prayer is valid.
