What is Riba (usury/interest), and how does it compare to the widely circulated term of bank interest today? Is Riba a benefit or a necessity? And how can one live in a system free of Riba?

Calling usury "bank interest" does not change its reality; the essence lies in facts, not words. Usury is pure corruption and a declaration of war against Allah and His Messenger. It leads to devouring people's wealth unjustly and corrupting society. The call for the necessity of dealing with usury stems from ignorance or deviation from religion. How can usury be a path to a comfortable life when Allah Almighty says: "Allah destroys usury and gives increase for charities" and "And whatever you give for interest to increase thereby in the wealth of people, it will not increase with Allah."
