What is the ruling on an employee answering inquiries about how to participate in competitions that involve gambling, knowing that the company does not allow him to advise against participation, and what should he do if he has already answered, and what should he do in the future, given that this is the only available job?

Competitions that require payment of money via phone call or message are impermissible because they fall under prohibited gambling. Therefore, it is not permissible to promote them due to their involving cooperation in sin. Those who engage in such acts must repent to Allah and refrain from them. It is obligatory to enjoin good and forbid evil.
