Is refusing to go out with the Jama'at al-Tabligh wa al-Da'wah considered disobedience to one's father and a sin before God?

Going out for da‘wah (preaching Islam) is a great act of obedience, as long as it is not accompanied by a violation of Sharia. Obeying one's father in permissible matters is obligatory, so what if it is in an act of devotion and virtue? Therefore, it is not permissible to disobey the father in this regard except for a legitimate excuse, such as their falling into sin or your engagement in an obligatory duty. Otherwise, not going out would be an act of disobedience that contradicts treating the father with excellence.
