Is the money received for supplying electrical materials to a factory, a percentage of which was retained, permissible or forbidden? And what should be done if it is forbidden?
Gifts to employees are forbidden and considered embezzlement (ghulul) because they are taken in exchange for the job. An employee must not take anything from clients, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "Gifts to employees are embezzlement," and his saying: "Why did he not sit in the house of his father or the house of his mother and see if he would be given a gift or not?"
The warehouse manager does not have the right to dispose of materials without the company's permission. If what he disbursed was legitimate, then it is not permissible for him to take money in exchange for it, and what he took is embezzlement.
Both of you must return the money to the subscriber. If he refuses, then we should seek permission from the company. If the company grants permission, then there is no harm.
