Is it permissible to say: "Stand for the teacher and give him due reverence, The teacher almost became a messenger"?

There is no harm in Ahmad Shawqi's verse: "Stand for the teacher and give him due veneration... The teacher is almost a messenger." For "messenger" here is metaphorical, meaning a carrier of the ethical and scientific message, and the verb "is almost" (كَادَ) denotes approximation, not certainty. Furthermore, the sayings of some scholars have approached these meanings. Moreover, standing for the teacher is a matter of permissible scholarly disagreement, with the majority allowing it.
