Is the prayer of one who performs it at home with his family in congregation accepted, due to the mosque being far away and not hearing the Adhan, while he is keen on prayer and dedicated to it?

Prayer in the mosque is not optional. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, threatened those men who stay behind from it that their houses would be burned. Ibn Mas'ud, may Allah be pleased with him, emphasized that observing prayers wherever the call to them is made is among the traditions of guidance, and that whoever stays behind from them is a hypocrite whose hypocrisy is well-known. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, commanded the blind man to come to the mosque as long as he could hear the call to prayer. These hadiths indicate the obligation of congregational prayer for able-bodied men who have no valid excuse. It is not permissible to stay behind from congregational prayer under the pretext of praying with one's household. Rather, whoever is obligated to go to the mosque must go, and whoever is not obligated is commanded to pray after returning from the mosque.
