ما هي كفارة وعقوبة الإدلاء بشهادة زور في قضية رشوة، مع العلم بأن النية كانت الحفاظ على كيان الأسرة، وأن الشهادة لم تؤثر في الحكم؟

Bearing false witness is one of the gravest sins, and Allah has forbidden it in His Book, alongside His prohibition of idols: "So avoid the uncleanness of idols and avoid false statement" (Al-Hajj:30). The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, also counted it among the gravest sins, alongside associating partners with Allah and disobedience to parents. The expiation for bearing false witness is repentance to Allah. If it resulted in harm to a human being, then one must seek their forgiveness, by saying: "My testimony was false, and I regret it."
