Are the stories mentioned, which speak of prayers being answered by the cutting off of a tyrant's hand and the death of a bad neighbor by a knife stab, necessarily to be believed as true, and are they facts that occurred in a time when injustice prevailed?

The first story was mentioned by Al-Dhahabi in "Al-Kaba'ir" (Major Sins) and Ibn Hajar Al-Haytami in "Al-Zawajir" (Deterrents) without a chain of narration. As for the second, it has not been found. It is permissible to mention them for encouragement and deterrence, but without asserting their authenticity. It is advisable to use indefinite expressions or attribute them to those who mentioned them. However, it is preferable to limit oneself to what has been authentically established from sound hadiths and reliable reports.
