Are the five narrations about the mockers and the manner in which Jibreel killed them authentic, and in which books of Hadith are they found, and what is the most authentic evidence regarding their names?

This narration is well-known in books of biography (Sīrah) and Tafsir (exegesis). Al-Tabarani transmitted it with a disconnected chain of narration due to the anonymity of one of its narrators, while Al-Bayhaqi transmitted it with a strong chain whose narrators are trustworthy, except that it includes Umar ibn Abdullah ibn Razīn, from whom unusual narrations are transmitted. This narration has been transmitted through different channels from the students of Ibn Abbas, among them the narration of Ikrimah, whose chain of narration is trustworthy. These narrations are supported by what was mentioned by the Imams of Sīrah, such as Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham, which clarifies that the narration has an origin and can be used for guidance in Tafsir and Sīrah, as mentioned by Sheikh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah.
