What are the statements of the scholars of Al-Jarh wa At-Ta'deel (discrediting and accrediting narrators) concerning the two narrators, Al-Hajjaj ibn Deenar and Hajjaj ibn Fudayl, without merely relying on what Ibn Hajar stated in "At-Taqrib"?

The majority of scholars have authenticated Al-Hajjaj ibn Dinar Al-Sulami Al-Wasiti. Ibn Al-Mubarak said about him: "Trustworthy." Imam Ahmad said: "There is no harm in him." Yahya ibn Ma'in said: "Truthful, there is no harm in him." Abu Zur'ah said: "There is no harm in him, his narrations are sound." As for Hajjaj ibn Fudayl, no biography for him has been found except what Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar mentioned, who clarified that it was an error resulting from textual corruption. The correct name is Al-Hajjaj ibn Artat, and Fudayl is ibn Amr Al-Fuqaimi. Thus, "an Fudayl" (from Fudayl) was corrupted to "ibn Fudayl" (son of Fudayl).
