Which is better: to complete a full recitation of the Qur’an for myself first in Ramadan, then for my deceased parents, or is it permissible to complete it for them first, then for myself? And if I can only complete one recitation, who is more important: myself or my parents?

It is permissible to dedicate the reward of reciting the Quran to the deceased, and they benefit from it, and this is the preferred view. However, it is better for the reciter to keep the reward of their recitation for themselves and supplicate for their deceased, in order to avoid disagreement and because they are in need of righteous deeds. If they wish to dedicate the reward, they should prioritize themselves first, then dedicate the surplus to the deceased.
