Is a person considered sinful if he is overcome by a feeling of admiration from the gazes of girls, despite his hatred of this feeling and his attempt to get rid of it after repentance?

A Muslim is required to stay away from sources of temptation (fitan) and everything that arouses desires. The most harmful temptation for a man is women. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "I have not left behind me a temptation more harmful to men than women," and "Beware of the world and beware of women, for the first temptation of the Children of Israel was concerning women." Therefore, Allah commanded lowering the gaze and guarding one's chastity. The feeling you experience when passing by girls is not a sin as long as you do not act upon it or speak, because it is merely a thought within oneself, but it is better to avoid it. Accordingly, you must stay away from places where women are present to protect yourself from temptation.
