Is it permissible for the Adhan to be recited with short phrases, like the Iqama?

As for the Iqamah, it is recommended to be quick and swift (hadar and isra'). This ruling is agreed upon by scholars, and the Adhan is valid in any manner, even if it is contrary to what is most preferable.
