What are the limits of interaction with men that Islamic Sharia has clarified, and is a female student considered to be in a state of necessity to interact with them in a mixed-gender university, given her parents' refusal for her to discontinue her studies?

If it is not possible to leave studies due to social circumstances, then one should search for another university major or college where opportunities for mixing with males are less. If that is not possible, then the girl must adhere to the full hijab, lower her gaze, maintain purity in speech, minimize opportunities for mixing with males, seek help from females, and try to arrange with the professor for the project to be with female colleagues. If that is not possible, then extreme caution must be exercised to avoid private seclusion with any male, and interaction with males should be kept to the bare minimum and in a serious manner that does not allow for acquaintance, and she should move to another group if there is an inclination from or towards anyone. One must seek Allah's help with patience, prayer, fasting, and remembrance.
