Are dabke and darabuka (drum) haram, and are there other musical instruments besides the duff that are permissible to play?

All musical instruments and percussions—with the exception of the duff—are forbidden. This includes listening to them, using them, manufacturing them, and selling them. Only the use of the duff is permissible.
