What is the ruling on a girl becoming attached to a young man to the point of infatuation, while desiring to rid herself of this feeling?

First: Repent to Allah and seek refuge in Him so that He may remove unlawful attachments from the heart.

Second: Maintain the five daily prayers, devote oneself to reciting and contemplating the Qur'an, and engage frequently in the remembrance of Allah.

Third: Cut off everything that reminds you of the person you are attached to, and seek forgiveness and refuge in Allah when you remember them.

Fourth: When the heart is filled with the love and veneration of Allah, and sincerity towards Him, there will be no room for attachment to anyone else. An empty heart is susceptible to infatuation.

Fifth: Avoid unlawful relationships and forbidden songs, as they only increase distress and misery.

Sixth: The happiness and soundness of the heart are achieved through the worship, love, and remembrance of Allah. Anything else is impermanent and causes torment and pain.
