Therefore, segregation between sexes in different educational stages is obligatory, and men should teach boys while women teach girls. As for your work in a mixed school, if you are safe from temptation and adhere to the Sharia guidelines, such as lowering your gaze and avoiding khalwa (private seclusion with a person of the opposite sex), then it is permissible; otherwise, it is not. It is preferable to avoid working in mixed schools.
