Is looking at pornography a minor or a major sin?

Looking at pornographic images is an evil act with dire consequences for one's religion and morals, and it may lead to immorality. A Muslim must fear Allah and abstain from this evil, for persistence in minor sins makes them major sins. It is not permissible to deliberately commit a sin with the intention of repenting later, as a Muslim does not know if he will be granted repentance or if he will be forgiven. A Muslim must remember that Allah is aware of everything, and He knows the treachery of the eyes and what the chests conceal. It is not befitting for him to hide from people but not feel ashamed before Allah.
