Is a woman's screaming during the labor pains that precede childbirth forbidden?

The screaming of a woman due to labor pains is not described as unlawful, as it is beyond her control. She is excused for it and will be rewarded for it if she remains patient and seeks her reward from Allah. Al-Bukhari reported in "Al-Adab Al-Mufrad" from Ibn Umar that a Yemeni man was circumambulating the Kaaba while carrying his mother. He asked Ibn Umar if he had repaid her. Ibn Umar replied, "No, not even for a single exhalation." And the exhalation (az-zafrah) is the heavy, repeated breathing that occurs to a woman during childbirth.
