What is the ruling on preventing a wife from entering her father's house until the inheritance is divided between her brother and her brother's wife, or until her brother's wife leaves the house, and what is the ruling on a husband's oath to divorce his wife by Khul' if she helps her brother with any money after she asked him to cede her share to her brother?

If a husband conditions his wife's divorce on her assisting her brother financially, or on her entering her father's house before his brother's wife leaves, and these conditions are met, then the wife is divorced with a revocable (raj'i) divorce according to the majority of scholars. Some scholars, like Ibn Taymiyyah, are of the view that a conditional divorce intended as a threat does not occur, and in such a case, an expiation for breaking an oath (kaffarat yamin) is required.
