It is not permissible for a mother to take her children's money without their consent or her dire need. What she takes by force is unlawful and she must return it. Her threatening to invoke curses upon them is impermissible, and if she prays unjustly, her prayer will not be answered. Children must honor their parents and obey them in what is right. Birth control is not permissible, with the exception of certain cases mentioned in a previous fatwa.
