Is it permissible for the older stepsister to displease the mother who raised her, due to ill-treatment, knowing that her biological mother is deceased?

Allah Almighty has made it obligatory to please one's mother in matters of righteousness. However, pleasing a stepmother is not a religious obligation. Nevertheless, showing kindness and goodness to her is generally required, especially if she has raised the husband's daughter, and because she is one of the father's beloved ones. The husband's daughter must be patient with the stepmother's harm, and it is not permissible for the stepmother to harm her husband's daughter through insult or injustice.
