What is the expected Shariah ruling in a case of unlawful seclusion (khalwa ghayr shar'iyyah) in a restaurant, discovered by the Commission for the Promotion of Virtue and the Prevention of Vice, and does the ruling differ from one judge to another?

Sincere repentance, seeking refuge in Allah, and increasing good deeds are recommended, for Allah has mercy on the truly repentant and grants them success in both worlds. One should also make abundant supplications, observe the morning and evening adhkar, and seek help through prayer. If there is a legal ruling, it must be submitted to and accepted; the ruling here will not exceed ta'zir (discretionary punishment) and is determined by the judge's ijtihad. Furthermore, one should be diligent in studying with the intention of acquiring knowledge that will benefit Muslims.
