Is a weak personality considered a deficiency in faith?

Weakness of character does not necessarily stem from weakness of faith, as it has various causes such as social factors, harsh upbringing, or suppression. However, weakness of faith leads to a weak imanic (faith-based) personality, which manifests in shyness about adhering to the Sunnah, dereliction in enjoining good and forbidding evil, and being swept away by transgressors. With strength of faith, weakness of character and other psychological ailments can be overcome.
