What is the share of the children of those who died before their father from their grandfather's inheritance?

A grandson and granddaughter through the son do not inherit from their grandfather if there is a son present, because they are completely excluded by him (deprived of inheritance). If the grandfather leaves behind only two sons and three daughters, his estate is divided among them by 'asabah (residuary inheritance), with the male receiving the share of two females, based on the verse: "Allah instructs you concerning your children: for the male, what is equal to the share of two females." (An-Nisa 4:11). The estate is thus divided into seven shares: two shares for each son, and one share for each daughter.
