How to perform Salat and Wudu according to the Maliki school of thought?

The correct description of ablution (wudu') as mentioned by Imam Malik in Al-Mudawwanah, with his chain of narration from Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him), is that he washed his hands three times, then rinsed his mouth and nose three times, then washed his face three times, then washed his right arm up to the elbow three times, and then his left arm similarly. Then he wiped his head and ears, then washed his right foot up to the ankles three times, and then his left foot similarly. Uthman then stated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) performed ablution in a manner similar to his own ablution, and said: "Whoever performs ablution like this ablution of mine, then stands and prays two rak'ahs in which he does not speak to himself, his past sins will be forgiven." This description is established in the two Sahih (definition) collections and others.
