How can a husband deal with his mother who seeks to sabotage his relationship with his wife and incites harm against the family through sorcery and other means, especially after the children have been sexually assaulted? And how can the spouses protect themselves from the evils and sorcery of the husband's mother and her sister?

The husband must be dutiful to his mother and treat her kindly, and advise her with good counsel if he sees her committing a wrong against his wife or anyone else. Likewise, the wife should honor her husband's mother and be patient with her harm and the harm of the husband's family, overlooking some matters out of respect for her husband and to preserve the family. It is not permissible to accuse them of witchcraft except with clear evidence and certainty. One can protect themselves from witchcraft by reciting Surat Al-Baqarah, morning and evening remembrances (adhkar), and lawful ruqyah (definition) by trusted scholars. As for the husband dropping the case, it is not obligatory for him; rather, he should ward off evil and prevent the act from recurring to protect the children, unless the aggressor repents or the problem can be resolved amicably within the family without resorting to courts.
