How is the narration of the Khawarij and Nawasib—of those who hated and excommunicated Ali, and whose hypocrisy has been established by the Qur’an and Sunnah—accepted, even though hypocrites are liars according to the text of the Qur’an and Sunnah?

The one who hates Imam Ali and the Ansar is a hypocrite if he hates them because of their support for the religion, for hating them means hating the religion. However, whoever hates them out of a misinterpretation or a belief that they violated the Sharia, then he is mistaken and misguided, but not a hypocrite. The love for Ali and the Ansar due to their faith and jihad is a sign of faith, and whoever hates them for that reason is a hypocrite. Loving the Companions for kinship or worldly gain is of no benefit with Allah. The one who exaggerates concerning the Companions or Prophets is not a true lover. If a person hates a Companion because he believes that Companion was a disbeliever or a transgressor, then he is ignorant and unjust, but not a hypocrite. The hadith of an innovator is accepted if he is not an advocate for his innovation, does not believe lying is permissible, and is known for his truthfulness. Indeed, the two Sheikhs (Bukhari and Muslim) narrated from some innovators.
