Is a supplication written in forums considered an acceptable supplication, even without uttering it verbally?

Writing a supplication for someone else is considered equivalent to supplicating for them verbally if that is the intention, based on the well-known jurisprudential and usuli (principles of Islamic law) maxim: "Writing is like speech, and the pen is one of the two tongues."
