What is the chain of narration (sanad) and text (matn) of the hadith: "Indeed, Allah admits three people to Paradise for one arrow: its maker who manufactures it with good intentions, the one who equips with it in the way of Allah, and the one who shoots it in the way of Allah," and is it authentic?

The attribution of the hadith: "Indeed, Allah, the Almighty and Majestic, admits three persons to Paradise for a single arrow: its maker, who intends good in its making; the one who shoots it; and the one who supplies it..." has been disputed. Abu Dawud and An-Nasa'i narrated it from 'Uqbah ibn 'Amir with the same wording, but its chain of transmission is weak due to the disruption and anonymity of its narrators. At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah narrated it with another chain that contains the same discrepancies and anonymity.

Some scholars have attempted to strengthen the hadith with corroborating evidence, including: 1. The hadith of Abu Hurairah: At-Tabarani and Al-Hakim narrated from Abu Hurairah, elevated to the Prophet (marfu'), with similar wording. However, Adh-Dhahabi weakened it, stating that Suwaid ibn Abd al-Aziz is abandoned (matruk). Abu Hatim and Abu Zur'ah corrected it, stating that the hadith is mursal from Ibn 'Ajlan from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abi Husain. 2. The hadith of Anas: At-Tabarani narrated it with similar wording, but its chain of transmission includes Ar-Rabi' ibn Sabih, who is considered weak by many hadith scholars, and Ibrahim ibn Mardawiyyah, who is unknown (majhul).

Therefore, all chains of this hadith are not free from weakness, even though some scholars believe that it gains strength from its various chains and rises to the level of hasan li ghairihi (good due to external corroboration).
