Is mentioning a son's flaws or complaining about him in front of others considered backbiting (Gheebah) for which one will be held accountable?

Backbiting is to mention your Muslim brother with what he dislikes. It is forbidden by Islamic law, and this includes mentioning the son's flaws in front of others. An exception to this is when it is intended to seek advice and consultation from experts in upbringing, or from those who can issue a fatwa, for the benefit of the children and to solve their problems. In this case, it is not considered backbiting.
