What is the ruling on the dowry if it was a plot of land that the wife endowed before consummation, and then she was divorced?

A woman owns the Mahr (dowry) by virtue of the marriage contract, and she has the right to dispose of it as she owns it. Endowment (waqf) is a binding contract that cannot be revoked or annulled. If a man divorces his wife before consummating the marriage, she is entitled to half of the Mahr. If she has disposed of it through sale or endowment, the husband has the right to reclaim half of its value on the day the contract was made. It is advisable for the husband to pardon his right if the wife is in financial hardship.
