A man who has committed the sins of adultery and lying must repent to Allah. He is permitted to marry the adulterous woman after she repents and gives birth. The child is attributed to its mother and not to him. The mother is not permitted to place the child in an orphanage. The woman's threat of suicide does not justify marrying her before she gives birth.
