Is it permissible for a father, in his will, to disinherit his dissolute and disobedient-to-parents son, with the condition that the inheritance reverts to him should he repent, and would the father be sinful for doing so?

What was mentioned about the son is a great sin and one of the major sins, but immorality (fisq) and disobedience (uqūq) are not among the legal impediments to inheritance, which are: murder, slavery, and difference in religion. The son inherits from his father by lineage, not by righteousness or piety. All sons and daughters are equal in lineage, and recompense for piety and disobedience is with Allah. Therefore, it is not permissible for the father to disinherit his son due to his immorality or disobedience, and his will to that effect is invalid. Nor is it permissible for the heirs to deprive the son of his legal share after the father's death.
