How do we intellectually prove prophethood?

The revelation addressed people's minds in the easiest ways, including clear rational and auditory proofs for knowing Allah and believing His messengers. The proofs of prophethood focus on two matters: the personality of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and what he brought.

His personality, peace and blessings be upon him, represents human perfection. His people testified to his truthfulness and trustworthiness before his prophethood, despite him being unlettered, neither reading nor writing, which confirms that his knowledge was not humanly acquired. As for what he brought of past and future unseen news and integrated legislations suitable for every time and place, it indicates that it is a revelation from the Creator of the universe.

Whoever desires rational proofs for prophethood should ponder the texts of the revelation.
