Is it obligatory to perform ghusl and prayer during the two intermittent days of the menstrual cycle, or are they considered days of menstruation?

The period of blood cessation that interrupts the days of menstruation is considered a state of purity (tuhur), according to the preferred opinion of talfiq (combining different juristic opinions), provided that one of the two signs of purity is observed: dryness or the white discharge (al-qassah al-bayda'). Accordingly, performing ghusl (definition) (ritual bath) and prayer during this period is a valid action.
