What is the ruling on working in the sale of tobacco for someone who has been harmed?

Smoking is forbidden, and it is not permissible to sell it or work in it, because it involves aiding in sin, as Allah Almighty says: "And do not cooperate in sin and aggression." And because of the saying of Sheikh Al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah that whoever aids in disobeying Allah is sinful. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, forbade alcohol and whoever aided in it, and Ibn Uthaymeen equated smoking with it. So, if Allah forbids something, He also forbids its price. Legitimate means of earning are many, and there is no necessity that permits the sale of cigarettes, for necessity is when a person would perish or be close to perishing if they did not consume the forbidden item.
