Is it permissible to buy food supplies worth 60 Saudi Riyals and give them to a needy family of four as an expiation for an oath, knowing that the cost of feeding one poor person is estimated at 6 Saudi Riyals?

It is sufficient to feed one indigent person with one and a half kilograms of food. The expiation for an oath is to feed ten indigent people, and it is not permissible to give it to fewer than ten, according to the preponderant opinion. If one cannot find ten, then let him distribute it to the available number over multiple days. The expiation must be in the form of food according to the majority of scholars, and the preponderant opinion permits giving its monetary value if that is more beneficial and helpful to the Muslims.
