An accusation made by one of the husband's brothers against the wife's honor is considered slander (qadhf), which is a grave sin. The wife is not obligated to visit her husband’s sister, and if she is a relative and a visit is feared to cause dispute, then connecting via phone call is sufficient. It is advised to strive for reconciliation between the parties, and the wife’s right to reside in an independent house may reduce problems.
