What is the ruling concerning jurists who cast doubt upon the Hadiths of Al-Bukhari and claim the obligation of believing in the Qur'an only, and are they in error or correct?

The statement of those who suffice with the Quran without the Sunnah is an error and misguidance, for the Noble Quran has referred to the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and commanded its adoption. The Sunnah is preserved through narration and transmission, and the scholars of Hadith have established principles and rules to distinguish its authentic from its weak, with Imam Al-Bukhari being among the most precise and eminent in this regard. None would disagree with this except one ignorant of the science of Hadith or obstinate in following his whims.
