How can one reconcile the Almighty's saying: "Indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from Us - those are removed far from it," with His saying: "There is none of you but will pass over it. This has been decreed by your Lord, an unavoidable decree"? And must a Muslim not commit any sins to be among the people of "the best [reward]"?

The "entering" mentioned in the verse does not imply torment by fire, nor does it preclude the removal mentioned in another verse. Rather, it refers to passing over the Sirat (bridge), where the pious will cross safely and be saved, while the wrongdoers will perish and fall into it, as Allah Almighty said: "Then We will save those who feared Allah, and leave the wrongdoers within it, kneeling."
